A Shift To Being Yourself

Visual Of The Week
Separate your work from your worth.
You may feel yourself shifting and growing and changing with the times. Here’s a poem I wrote recently about change and rebirths during this extraordinary experience we call life.🌻
What Happens When You Decide To Be?
What happens when you let go Of old stories Of beliefs and environments and relationships that aren't feeding you?
Your body will be scared Because you're doing it differently. You're doing it in a way you've never done it before.
A part of you dies But another part of you comes to life.
You'll grieve the old times. You'll feel nostalgic. But you'll find solace in being yourself.
And you'll awaken all the possibilities on the road back home to you.
Mindful Dose🧘🏽♀️
Here’s a meditation by Ram Dass and musicians John Hopkins and East Forest, I’ve been listening to before bed much of the past week.
I teared up the first time I sat with it. It’s hard to put into words, but you feel it and it reminds you of your essence and that you’re not alone.
Find a comfortable space to sit and let go.

Another Russ track this week. A reminder about the power of our thoughts. Dropping lyrics below because they’re worth reading even if you don’t listen to the song:
I realized the thoughts in my mind were
Directly connected to what's in my pocket
It's in your head, money will come,
As soon as you feel like you already have it
Napoleon Hill, Deepak, and Paulo
That's what I read and I made this shit happen
Get lost in yourself, that's how you find you
Focus on what fuels you and drives you
Recognize the power inside you
Chase your passion, not just the money (yeah)
I knew it was all on me, all my bets were all on me
I knew if I called the universe enough, it'd call on me
I believed in non-existent, all my thoughts into fruition
Poke the universe enough, it turns around and grants your wishesI been sayin' I was rich since I was broke (yeah, yeah)
It's a state of mind, you gotta know (yeah, yeah)
