Did You Know You Were This Powerful?
Hey Fam!
A lot going on in the world. I hope you and your loved ones are safe.
I’m on vacation, so this week’s newsletter will be shorter.
I’ve been reflecting on how powerful we are as creators; the ways we can manifest things with focused attention.
Have you ever made a decision, with conviction, and realized things came to life in ways that were hard for you to explain?
Have you ever been blown away by the synchronicities in life?
When Paulo Coelho declared, “when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it,” in “The Alchemist” it was hard for me to believe.
But I’ve been blown away at the possibilities when I direct my energy on one thing I desire. (It’s helpful to have one desire instead of many so your energy can be focused.) I’ve attracted things that were beyond what I initially thought were possible.
And I understand Coelho’s statement more when I acknowledge myself and everything else as energy.
Energy is influenced by your thoughts.
We’ve been conditioned to believe the outside world is more real than our inside world. But quantum physics suggests our world is shaped by our thoughts.
Coelho expanded on his statement in the Alchemist by sharing how thoughts influence what you attract in this video:
Quantum physics proposes since everything is in a state of potential energy, everything is possible. And with this belief we can focus our thoughts and energy to attract what we want.
In my experience a helpful part of bringing a desire to life is through connecting with the energy of already having it in possession. This allows for detachment and conviction.
This was a powerful practice that Phil Jackson did with his players when he coached the Bulls and Lakers. Before games they’d visualize and connect with the feeling of being their best and winning the game.
On a psychological level this has been shown to influence the thoughts the subconscious mind suggests, which impacts emotions and behavior.
Dr. Joe Dispenza expanded on this idea with the following quote.
We’re more powerful than we’ve been taught to believe. Your desire is possible with belief and focused energy.
A mom may not believe she can complete a hike. But if she needed to do it to save her child, her level of conviction and focused attention would certainly be different.
Faith mixed with love (strong desire) is powerful enough to move mountains.
Sending you love. Thanks for your attention. Have a great weekend!
